ABOUT US

We started out in our garage in Garland, TX (suburb of Dallas, TX).  In the beginning we manufactured some of our own tools because PDR tools were hard to obtain. Tom was one of the 1st group of technicians in Dallas, TX to start a PDR business. He was also one of the first to try & perfected crease repairs.  In a few years we found ourselves transitioned into a full service paintless dent repair company repairing anything made of metal. 

We maintained 28 dealerships & serviced retail, wholesale, insurance co's, automotive handling facilites, etc. in the Dallas, TX metroplex repairing everything from door dings,  creases, minor & major dents to severe hail damage before moving to Bend, OR.

We've also travelled all over our country & Austraila on various hail assignments supporting local small PDR businesses like ours, insurance jobs to automotive factory sites. We set up ourselves here locally.  We've also done training sessions for insurance agents & adjusters demostrating what could & could not be repaired by PDR.

For the 1st 14 years we were known as Auto Art PDR (aka the husband & wife team).  In 2014 we changed our name to The Green UnDent Company, LLC to help remind folks we are a green auto body business, "Saving the planet one dent at a time!"

  Year 14 we came to Bend, OR to repair hail damage in 2006. We were repairing severe hail damage that other PDR companies wouldn't even attempt so we were encouraged to stay by JR’s Body & Paint (Now Premier Auto Body). Then some major insurance companies  &  adjusters wanted us to stay because they hadn’t seen complex dents repaired before by PDR.  We couldn’t resist with all their support & the perfect work/life balance that can be achieved here in Central Oregon.  

One of the biggest reasons we moved here was to finish raising our youngest child in a safer environment .  She attended elementary, middle & high school here while our oldest two children attended college in other states.  Our youngest ended up attending college here. 

We used to love mountain biking all over the country & were sponsored by a few local bike shops, a VW dealership & mtn bike association in TX. Chandra was also sponsored by a bike shop in Brisbane, Australia.   We can't believe we landed here in Mountain Bike Heaven.

Tom & Chandra have been married for 38 yrs now & that's another bonus of moving to Bend, it's a perfect place to retire some day.

In our spare time we like to walk our dogs,  hike, camp,  mtn bike, go on  photography adventures, traveling & making music.
